I 'henpecked' hubby 'til he agreed to go to this class -- he calls it enabling me in my chicken obsession. And it actually was helpful for both of us. I learned that I am WAY overthinking this. They're chickens for crying out loud, not an endangered species I'm going to kill if I screw up. You know, pets with benefits. I don't know if he still sells them, but we got ours for $2 each.
I'll add you to my friends, and I can email you his phone number if you like.
If, for any reason, it falls through you would be 2nd on my list as potential adoptees. He's too young now for shots and worming so that would need to be done in 2 weeks as well as his fix in a few months. Otherwise he is a playful little purr bucket, attention stealer. I really adore him.
And self litter box trained!
His sister needs TLC rehab and is going to an adults only home where she will be well loved and not trauatized by dogs or loud noises and will have vigilant parents about her health; as she may have long term care issues from prolonged abuse and neglect. She still cowers at a moth.
Now I just have one screaming, biting, plucking parrot to get into Oasis and I may have a quasi normal home again :)
