So the Bokashi is ready now. The recipe said that "when it is ready to use, it will have a sweet, almost cider vinegar scent" it does! It smells like apple cider vinegar :o)
So I already put some in my compost bin in the kitchen, not a moment too soon, it was started to get a bit stinky since I ran out of the Bokashi I had bought, and my batch was not quite ready!
Well, this should be a good test, if my Bokashi worked, my compost would go back to having sort of a malty/yeasty smell to it, rather…

Here we go…
So I have all the ingredients needed to make my own Bokashi. I will be following the pod chef’s recipe from the “How to Make Bokashi” video. I’ll let you all know how it turns out…
Could not wait for the class :oP
Plus I’m sure after making it, I'm probably going to have questions, and if there are any issues, I’ll be able to bring them up/ask about them at the class :o)
