My husband Architect Perry Becker and I have our home featured in the July issue of Phoenix Home and Garden.........The Living Green issue...we are on page 124...Starting from Scratch.We look forward to adding solar when better incentives or pricing becomes more affordable.Most of the plants are native and through friends and neighbors had the opportunity to save and plant over 300 cactus. Lola our corgi is a wonderful dog and she has a great disposition. One thing about corgis is they shed like monsters! I read this once and did not believe it but it is amazing that she is not bald from all the shedding.
Our turtle is not a desert tortoise just a box turtle we adopted from a family that wanted him to have a yard to roam, he totally is independent.
