Corgis and turtles are both great!
Lola our corgi is a wonderful dog and she has a great disposition. One thing about corgis is they shed like monsters! I read this once and did not believe it but it is amazing that she is not bald from all the shedding.
Our turtle is not a desert tortoise just a box turtle we adopted from a family that wanted him to have a yard to roam, he totally is independent.
