So some friends and I were very set on renting this beautiful, historic, permie-designed house on Apache and Dorsey in Tempe when all of a sudden, one roommate decided to flake out. Now, with each of us at a loss of $1000 deposit each, we will not get our money back unless someone takes the house soon.
We are super bummed about letting it go, but it would just be too much for 3 people to handle. It has a 3 bedroom house with a connecting studio that is one bedroom and has its own kitchen and bathroom. I fell in love with the house from the moment I saw the outdoor shower draining into a bamboo forest and a chicken coop nestled into the spacious backyard. There is flood irrigation rainwater catchment, PLENTY of room for a huge garden, and an almond, orange, and apple tree around the property. It's hooked up with energy-saving appliances too! The landlord is a PDC grad and really made sure the place stayed in great shape.
If you or someone you know (in a group of 4) is interested at all, email me or call and I can send pictures or describe more of the details.
This house really deserves a permie to love it!
