closed on the 24th of November and just now got my keys. I was so upset about not getting them and now I am frozen by all I need to do. Gotta make list and start checking things off. Yeah....D

We closed on our house on Nov 24, 2008. All papers signed or initialed and of course closing costs paid with a cashiers check, but of course funds were delayed due to Thanksgiving which is ok because it is my most favoritest holiday of the year. We found a house. We close on the 24th of November and will begin the transformation of a poor unloved house with a dirt lot for a yard. I cannot wait to plant my 2 lemon trees and my sweet bay. I learned alot in Heather's vegeable gardening class and I'm excited about applying the principles I learned. I should probably be planning how I'm going to remove the grossest carpet I have ever seen in my entire 46-year-old life, but I cant help thinking about the yard and garden. I have rented my little house and moved in with my mom. I now have 4 roomates ranging in ages from my 73-year-old mother to my 11 and 10-year old sons and last but not least, my soon-to-be 3-year old baby boy. Luckily for me she has a small yard so I brought over my container garden and have managed to save what my baby has tried to "harvest".
