I have a stringy white mold under my compost mulch around trees. I mulch about 3inches deep and water once a week for at least 6 hours with 1 & 2 gal emitters. Most of my trees are only a year and half old and are all sub tropical fruit trees. Everything seems to be doing fine. Is this mold something I should address? It is centered closest to the emitters. Hi Jeff, we should start an 85254 permies group. I think my anna apple breaking dormancy late has more to do with it being its first year in the ground. At least that's what I'm hoping for...Good luck to you in all your gardening adventures.
