I read an article that crooks are stealing the crops from urban farmers in Florida. Just wondering if anyone's heard of that happening here in the Phoenix valley.

Michael's chevre was amazing. Just a few days ago he tried a new recipe from a cheese cookbook - it's a winner! Was a bit longer process and used a different culture - but so worth! Thanks Chris!

You know I thought I was opening discussions with my blogs, but figured it out the other day when my latest thing wasn't in the forum. Thanks for getting back to me though. Wow 7 Peters Honey trees! You must love figs and also have a lot of space. No I haven't figured it out yet but if I do I'll let you know. I'm thinking maybe I'm under watering or the tree just hasn't developed a deep enough root sys. to support the figs in this heat.

You are the first on my "friends" list. I've recently joined this group and the micro livestock group and I must say I thoroughly enjoy reading the discussions, blogs, etc. Everyone seems to be very nice and helpful. I appreciate kindness, thank you.

Hi Michael and Lylah,
You are on my friends list from a while ago but I have been out of the loop for some time now. Just wanted to formally introduce myself and say hi. Hope to be a bit more involved with the phx perm. Have been going to more farmer's markets and learning the ropes of the valley. Hope we can stay in touch and perhaps meet sometime as well. Take care, Susan

Thanks Lylah. I learned about Ollas at the herb class yesterday! Also, that I was probably overwatering a lot of my herbs and the benefits of pumice in the soil. Do you have a photo up of your completed chicken coop? I see the progress pics...
