Yes they can't bend and as long as you stay away from the pinchers it's ok.

And I don't have Palo Verde trees. Why is was hanging around I dont know. Gave it a second life.

Palo Verde Beetle. Harmless unless you pick it up by the pinchers. Found a live one the other day in the yard and picked it up and moved it to the garden. They like to hang around this time of year.

Update on the Blackberry Bush. Not doing well this year. Just hanging in there. I think I need to cut it back after the summer and do a restart. I water it well but I think I need to rethink the fertilizing.
