I have mine very open. No problems here. It really doesn't get cold enough. I figure if we have an odd week I can bring in the heat lamp, but I haven't had to do that. The heat is always an issue here. I have enough shade and I cover the entire run…

Some one once told me that blood meal sprinkled around the garden helps. I have used it for several years and while my neighbors have rabbit issues they leave my garden alone. I am growing cabbage, lettuce, sunchokes, onions and chard and peas
