We are using organic growing methods in a 27' x 27' planting area. This is our first planting season and most of the planting has already been completed (though some replanting may be necessary). Additional members are needed to help with upkeep, ideally (but not crucial), someone who is capable of building…See More

Thanks for the help, Jenni, but I could use a bit more. I'm already a Ning member, and upon signing in, I get this message:

Membership to Larkspur Community Garden is By Invitation Only
We're sorry, but the administrator has chosen to require an invitation to join . If you have an invitation, click the link in the email to join.

It's this invite, presumably a hyperlink beyond the one you sent to only the login page, that I appear to need, at your convenience. Oh, if you get the chance, consider going to Schnepf's family farms for some delish peaches and great family atmosphere :-)

I had the pleasure of assisting at the garden today, after being greeted most warmly by your friends. It's a fine space already well underway toward a PC transformation. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to helping further in the future. I heard Sat is a standard day and possibly Wed too. Liz recommended that I seek to join your Ning Larkspur group; would you mind sending me an invite via this site's private mail feature if you think it best? Thanks, and hopefully we can meet face to face soon.

That sounds like a fair and informative exchange. I'll await your follow up as well as your recommended time of arrival on site. Thx

Though not an absolute, my schedule is currently open this Sat. the 16th. I take it there will be persons of growing experience there to provide guidance and prevent me from pulling out the food and leaving the weeds :-) Most importantly, what are the exact directions and work times pls? Also, is Sat. (or any other days) a perpetually locked-in work day that someone will always attend or is it on a day-by-day basis I'd have to keep checking? I only ask so as not to regularly keep bugging you asking if I should show up. If it works out, I look forward to meeting you and your fellow permies!

I am already committed this weekend, but would love to attend a future event Is there a regular posting of such scheduled work dates/times? Also, may I have the exact address/directions? As a newbie, I would only want to go (for your sake ;-) under the watch of someone more experienced. Looking forward to it!

Hi Jenni
I'm brand new to gardening and would like to learn re: the community garden you mentioned. Might you be interested in a willing but guidance-needing volunteer to assist? Thanks
