$(#&_%!! That was fast. I hope the person who got them was a Guild member or someone who's been inspired by all our chicken-owning Guild members and/or our classes.

Depends on how heavy they are, but they're still pretty cool. See Craig's listing dated today:  http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/zip/1589025843.html

Hi Sarah, I live in Sunburst Farms in the 43rd Avenue and Greenway area. My neighbor Hein just lost his rooster and would be grateful to adopt yours. Hein lives next door to me here in Sunburst Farms. He has three hens and six month-old chicks (thos…

This is just amazing. Have you started using it yet, and if so, what do you think? You can do so many things - I swear you and your DH will be totally off the grid soon, if you're not already. :o)

Chris, how do you execute the...firing by fire method?

Cool. I think the second way seems better - burying the pot saucer down, and filling through the hole.

Morning: I'd stick with Ken. If you are talking about the place by the dump, (27th ave I think) I never went back. Their stuff was too black and too amonia smelling. It was black even though all the stuff wasn't broke down. There is the guy south of the river bottom on 35th. He's a little cantankourous. He wouldn't let me go back to look at the stuff, and his smallest load is 4 yards. too big for my toyota. He talked a good game and the stuff looked good from a hundred yards away.

I will go directly to the source for the seeds, I thaught you wanted to get rid of them all. No Biggie, There is wild amaranth growing there now. They might die in the heat, they are just sprouts now. If they make it to 6" tall I'll harvest some greens and whack down the rest for the worms. Thnx for getting back, have a fun day- charly

Hi, I eavesdropped on your offer to Eva for the ground cover seeds. If she did not take you up on it, I could use them. I have earthworm castings as a return gift.

Hey Jane
Sure...if your ever in my neighborhood...15th avenue between camelback and indianschool, I can always use blankets and things. Will cut it up for my hospital cages or for bottle feeders =]

Thanks so much!

Hi Jane - I would love to see your ladies and your set up, if you don't mind. We are closer to getting chickens but are still working on a design for the coop and yard that will allow the ladies to eat down my garden and fertilize it when the veggies are done for the season-saves me some labor :). We are out of town this weekend but have next weekend free if you have a window of opportunity...my regular email is Julie@goldstarstaffingservices.com if you'd like to email me directly...thanks for replying - I was really pleased to get your email - you still have awesome pictures!! Julie
