Profile Information

About Me:
I'm an Arizona native from Chandler (when it only had 4,000 people) so I grew up in an agricultural environment. I'm remodeling a 1959 house in South Scottsdale and trying to incorporate greener living characteristics into my family's lifestyle. Rather than "landscaping" the backyard, I want to learn about sustainable gardening in the Southwest. I have a lot to learn and hope the Permaculture Guild can help me learn quickly.

Hey...thanks for reaching out...I'd love to be your friend!! Want to get coffee or lunch sometime? Unless my neighbors give up their need for a babysitter for Monday, I probably won't be able to go to Changing Hands! Que lastima!!

Hello Ellen! Glad you joined! Have you heard about Roberta Paolo, also known as Granny in the Garden? She is coming here to the valley in December and has 2 talks about using the garden as a teaching experience for children. I am thinking about going. Here is the link to the event. Ryan was curious if you are composting in place :) Probably see you around Winfields!
