Thanks Vynnie. I'm not sure what the previous owners used this space for before we moved in. It was full of weeds but thankfully no grass. The kids love to help me in the garden especially when we are planting seeds. They love to eat the "goodies" too.
Take Care,

Now THAT'S what I call a garden. Truly a delightful edible naturescape. I bet the kids dig it (literally). Who needs classroom - this is real learning! I especially love the sunflowers (attracts verdins, make shade) and onions (attracts pollinators, repells pests) planted throughout. Way to go Portia!!
(Was this all lawn at one point?)

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I use the PVC pipes to keep netting over my beds. It's easy to put up, take down and it's cheap. My chickens love to dig up the garden (especially newly planted seeds) if I don't protect it.
