My friend showed me how to make soap. So we made this olive and coconut oil soap, with lots of herbs, and brisk oils like tea tree and eucalyptus.

Plus, some peppermint, and lemon balm from my garden.

It also includes the jojoba nuts that I foraged, for moisturizing and exfoliating.

My friend has this Soapmaker software that she uses, and it calculates your cost. I think it came up with something like 28 cents a bar.

IIRC, I bought:
1 liter bottle of olive oil (we used half), $8.99
2 containers of coconut oil, one cost $5.99 (24? oz) and the other $6.99 (16oz). We used the 16oz, and 1 oz from the larger one.
3 sticks of vegetable shortening - around $3

I already had the tea tree oil, jojoba meal, and lemon balm.

She had the eucalyptus oil, peppermint, colors, beeswax, and sodium hydroxide.

that's great what kind of cost involved in making the amount in the pic?
