I am set up to start making salves; however, i don't have those cool tins. Where did you get them?

Thanks! Yes I did. That batch is actually already gone -- gave it all away for Christmas. But I just made a new one.

Creosote has antimicrobial properties. So it's most often used as a topical treatment for cuts and scrapes. But it has also been used as an anti-fungal, for stuff like athletes foot.

Traditionally, it was used to treat everything from arthritis to STDs. I don't know about all that. But you never know.

Personally, I use a thin coat on the hooks of my earrings. It keeps the piercing hole from becoming inflamed and gross.

Wow, these look so beautiful! You made this, I presume. I bet it smells great!! Is it for dry skin, or is it medicinal??
