Hello Jason, 

Maybe you have a green variety. Round patty pan squash come in yellow, white, dk.green, light green.

well, they all were the deep yellow color at first, but the most recent ones are a yellow/green mix so i am not sure.  i was also wondering if they could be cross pollinating with the zucchini.
