Hello I was wondering if some one could help me with these little green inch worm looking things eating the #$%% out of my sugar snap peas, borage , bok choy. I have some very small dill plants starting to surface about 5 ft away could that be an issue? How should I get rid of these little guys?
Thanks

You could hand pick them or if you think the infestation is too severe get some sulfur powder and it will kill them all. This is considered and organic insectacide and is also good for the soil.

The cabbage looper worms are usually only a serious pest on cabbage/broccoli etc. It seems like they spread to other plants that are close, so it may just be an issue of proximity... I doubt they will harm your dill. I pick them off by hand and give them to the chickens and quail. I find that if I check the plants regularly (every other day) they don't ever get big enough to do significant damage. Depending on if the infested area is small enough for hand-picking to be practical, that would be my first recommendation.

Hi all- I would like to order some Cornish X next week, but would prefer to have my mother in law raise them in Prescott rather than in Phx.  Anyone know how Cornish X will do in cooler weather up in Prescott?    Jay

So I cooked the first of the rabbits we processed last week. Fried it like chicken. What went wrong is I have never fried chicken and I cooked it too long resulting in rubber rabbit so I popped it into the crockpot for three hours and it was divine…

I was just reviewing John Jeavon's book How to Grow More Vegetables and in it he mentions planting Mexican marigold (Tagetes minuta) for controlling nematodes.
