I live near Warner and Rural in Tempe, have no truck and need compost. Anyone going to Ken Singn's on 10/31 that might be willing to help me out? I think the load is $40-$60. I will pay 75% of the cost and split the load with you if you have a truck and can do the pickup.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Andrea, I can haul some compost for you this Saturday if you still need it. Let me know.

Thank you so much. I am out of town this weekend, and would accept compost from either Ken's or I have heard good things about another place on the southwest side? Is 11/21 or another day possible? I am home-based so actually I could work with you on a weekday as well. Is the deal I proposed acceptable?

I'm probably not going to be available on the 21st and as Erica pointed out Ken only sells to the public on Sat. which is the only day I have the truck anyway. The deal sounds great if we can work out a Sat. The following maybe? Let me know.

The next Saturday is Thanksgiving weekend, probably not a good day. How about 12/5?

That will probably work, I'll check in with you before then.

Wondering if you are interested in doing the compost run this weekend?

Andrea, sorry I took so long getting back to you but if you still want to haul compost this Saturday we're up for it. Let me know if you want to meet us there or want us to pick you up at your place. We're thinking about 11:00? Let me know how you want to do this. Thanks

Saturday will be fine. I'm doing the herb class from 9-11...can I meet you there around 11:45 a.m.? I have a red Honda del Sol...I'll look for your truck there. Call my cell if you need me: 480-580-3021.

We'll see you there at 11:45 Andrea.
Just a reminder that Ken only sells compost on Saturdays :)

I have been searching for a place to get compost myself. We buy the 3 cu ft bags at home depot and it has so much junk in it. How large a load do you get for $40-$60? We have a 12 ft flat bed that we can put a large tarp on to confine the compost for hauling with our Ranger. Where is Ken's located? We are in West Mesa.

Diane, Ken is just east of the 101 on Thomas Rd. We have a short bed truck and it cost us $40, a full size bed is $60, don't know how much he would charge for your flatbed.

Hi all- I would like to order some Cornish X next week, but would prefer to have my mother in law raise them in Prescott rather than in Phx.  Anyone know how Cornish X will do in cooler weather up in Prescott?    Jay
