Whether you're growing on a balcony, supplementing your garden plot or just wanting to beautify a patio, containers are a great way to produce your own edibles in a manageable way. This step-by-step workshop focuses on challenges of container gardening specific to Phoenix and the Southwest. We will address the basics for growing edibles, flowers and a variety of other plantings in containers. Learn about potting soils, watering options, mulch and the importance of location. Vynnie the Gardener will share his professional tricks-of-the-trade and his holistic methods for success to get big results in a small space. This workshop is ideal for apartment dwellers, homeowners, beginning gardeners, and seasoned green thumbs.
