Build your own Rain Barrel with Chip Satterlund
Sunday, April 12th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Location: Location: 922 W Pierson, Phoenix, AZ 85013
Requested donation: $10

Convert a 55 gal drum to a rain barrel. "Bring Your Own Barrel" or purchase one with a removable lid at the class ($45). Chip will help you convert it to a water harvester with a tap and overflow. Parts for all barrels will be available the day of class (cost may run $12 to $25.)

**Please RSVP to your right and leave a comment below to indicate if you need a barrel(s) and/or a conversion kit(s) so we know how many to have on hand. If you are not a registered member contact chip@phoenixpermaculture.net.

If you want to bring your own barrel, they may be purchased at most Feed stores in the Valley.

Additional classes are available.

Chip. Arragh! I just slept in, goofed around the house, then checked my calendar. The workshop is done. I apologize. Till the next one. Did you get pictures of my tumbler?

i am sorry but a family emergency has come up that will take me out of town tomorrow, so I will not be able to come. I am sorry for the late notice, but plan on attending the june class.

I just bought 4 blue 55 gallon barrels from Craig's List-I hope they'll be all right. I have to wash them out, tops do not remove, two holes in top. Similar to http://www.arizonabarrels.com/55_gallon_closed_top_blue_plastic_barrels_drums.html. Will these be okay? Can I work something out to daisy chain them? If these barrels would be okay, I'll bring one and will need a conversion kit. I have been reading a lot, but would appreciate your help and advice in actually setting up the whole system. Thank you!
