Do you have a wonderful vegetable you love the taste of and would like to save the seeds? Or a flower you think is beautiful and want to grow it again next year? Then come and find out what to do next!
Learn all about the seeds you can save and expect the same plant the next time you plant it. Learn the importance of saving your own seeds. Explore the difference between hybrid and heirloom seeds.
Come and enjoy yourself learning how to help protect the planet, save money, and make new friends with exchanging seeds from around the world. Develop seed strains that do best in your own garden! Attend this informative class and get started with saving your own seeds to plant and share with others.
Requested Donation: $10 each class (cash or check to the PPG)
The class will be held at ASU Downtown Phoenix campus located in the UCENT Building, Room #234 -- located on east side of Central, just south of Filmore and directly south of the Cronkite building. The room is on the 2nd floor, south end of main lobby area.
Best place to park is near the Downtown Farmers Market at Central Ave & McKinley (3 blocks south of Roosevelt)
There is also an ASU parking lot on the southeast corner Filmore & Central, which is free on the weekends.
The light rail also stops right there, so take the train, carpool, ride your bike whenever possible.
